Returning this fall from Philadelphia as a junior in vocal studies at The Eastman School of Music, Danielle Romano presently studies with Professor Anthony Dean Griffey. Danielle has participated in Eastman’s 2017 fall opera production of L'incoronazione di Poppea. This upcoming winter Danielle will also be involved with Eastman’s production of Orfeo ed Euridice. In addition to performing, Danielle has worked backstage in costumes for two of Eastman’s productions, and plans to continue in the fall. Danielle has previously been seen in Girard Academic Music Program’s musical productions, where she played Maria in West Side Story, Pinocchio in Shrek The Musical, and Yente and Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof. Danielle will always remember the way her High School experiences and teachers helped to develop her love for life as a performing artist. Danielle continues to play both the piano and viola in her free time. She looks forward to her continued studies at Eastman, and would like to recognize supporters including the Florencia M. Mack Scholarship Award, GAMP Home and School Music Scholarship, and the Milicia Award for their continued contributions to her music education. Danielle would also like to thank her parents for their continuous love and support.
